FWIW - The hub size, spacing, etc... on the Freelander2 is a common size across various cars in the Ford/PAG range. I don't have a list but I have seen some of the engineering cars running on Volvo rims.
The only thing to bear in mind is that some of the non Land Rover rims might not have the same load rating.

That's correct. From memory, the Mondeo and XC60 but don't quote me. Also, do check the load rating as suggested.
Anyone in Brisbane looking for 19in wheels? I'm very keen to swap for a set of 17in, but I'm hoping to do it very quickly as we are looking to head to Fraser on Tuesday!
I have recently purchased a set of Volvo wheels (off ebay) for $200 - they are 17" x 7.5" - which I have had shod with some 255/65 R17 Cooper A/T3s for off-road exploring so I can save my Continentals and factory 18" alloys for the bitumen.
There are a number of wheels you can choose from which have the right PCD and offset to clear the brakes etc.
