Tyre pressure is no one, 18 psi maybe. And if you have DSC turn it off

Definitely turn off dsc (every time you start the engine). Use sand mode. Tyres at 16 or really soft go down to 12

Just make sure if you go down a steep hill using HDC that you are confident of being able to get back up.
If you have a manual accept a tow from a dual range 4WD if you have to slip the clutch to get up or you will kill the clutch.
AFAIK the muffler is the lowest point so be very careful if you see deep ruts.

Hey guys thanks for the tips, wish I'd read the turn dac off every time you start the end engine, I'd gone everywhere without too much bother just until we were about to leave, went to pull away and down,down,down she went, by the time I'd realised what I'd done wrong she was well and truly bogged, however lesson learnt, a few laughs and the usual soft landy comments from the boys.

Can't wait to go again, going to invest in a snatch rope and tyre compressor.
Shame there was a total fire and movement ban today, still 42c at the beach was not a bad substitute.

Good you had fun, when you get the snatch strap, or before, make sure the place you plan to attach it to is strong enough. Tie down points and tow points are not. You may need some expert advice on this on the Freelander section.
