    Steering wheel off-centre

Hoping that someone may be able to offer some advice for this issue.

Recently purchased a MY13 Freelander 2 and the steering wheel was off-centre by about 10 degrees. Had a workshop look at it and they had a wheel alignment done and it came back fine.

A week later, I noticed the steering was off-centre again (but more like 5 degrees not 10). Workshop sent it back for another alignment.

Again, a few days later, the steering was off-centre.
Again back for a check and wheel alignment and told there's no play and that it's likely a pothole has been hit.

The car has done less than 2000km in that entire time and the wife isn't exactly a hoon, so I'm confident that it's not the way it's been driven.

I don't see the point in sending it back for wheel alignments if that's not going to solve the issue (even if i'm not paying for it). Does anyone know what might be causing this?

    Terrain response system

Had the same problem, they did not fo the back wheels, at some point your ECU is going to give you a warning, if you take it for a full wheel alignment, then drive it for 20 min . Turn it off wait 5, then the error will go away and your terrain response system will work again.
