    Cigar lighter no go!

The Cigar lighter was not working! Cigars! come on. The fuse had blown. I also replaced the overhead bulb in the rear passenger compartment. Driving to the to local auto barn, I noticed a juddering from the front when braking. I need pads rotors and new bolts LR000093, the local Land Rover dealer will be getting a visit for these bolts.

    Towbar wiring

Looked at wiring harness given to me with the car. Never fitted as Hayman Reese TBar

Might be difficult to use supplied brackets as made for LR TBar

Can anyone let me know why wiring has 2 plugs. Different pin configuration. One white top one black ??
    Cheers

Black one is your normal trailer socket - stop, tail, right & left indicators & earth.
White one is power outlet - IIRC, one constant 12v and one 12v that's live with ignition in accessories position.

Just ordered an iDrive throttle controller from Sparesbox for $220. Should be here this week I'll let you know if it's worth it.

    Happy 10th Birthday to Perry!

With the tenth birthday comes replacing the coolant pump, coolant, timing belt, auxiliary belt. What a performance. It took for ever!! At least that is it done for the next 10 Years!!

I changed the front rotors and pads. There was shuddering on braking. Not any more. These are very very similar to the front brakes in a 2008 Passat.
