I tried following the youtube by connecting the two fibre optics. The CD had movements, but still cannot get the radio on.

Does the freelander2 amp have a bluetooth function or something inside the amp?

Because in the landrover and RR, the optic fibre is for bluetooth function.

My FL@ has bluetooth, but I cant find that component........

Pretty sure the Bluetooth Module is separate. My Freelander doesn't have it but there are a few threads on the other forum about it.

Thanks mate. Sadly its not the fibres. I tried and still did'nt work. Fuse is ok, but noticed that the little fan in the amp is not powered on. I am checking if there is any power to the amp now.

New problem now, driver seat wont move. Only the backing would move. Not liking Landrovers anymore as it seems difficult to fix

Ok I am really lost now. Checked the 12v red wire to the amp and seems no power is going through. I checked the fuse and its still intact but no power is going through. All other electrics are working fine. Any hints guys?

I am really and truly lost now

Can you swap the Freeloader for a good Series 2A? Much simpler to work on & you could change batteries all day & not have a problem although you might break a terminal lug.

Btw, where is "somewhere"? I realise everybody has to be somewhere but it must be getting awfully crowded there by now.

Send Cambo@oldjaguar a PM. He knows Freelander 2s inside out.

    Thanks Guys. I'm in Bris.

I am getting somewhere now. The 30A fuse in the rear compartment box is working as i used a volt tester.

But when I test the rear power plugs for the amp, no power at all.

My question is between the fuse box and the right hand panel, is there another fuse for the amplifier?

    Thanks guys
