    EGR Blanking plate

So today I got my EGR blanking plate for our 07 TD4 for a couple of bucks off ebay. Stainless Steel thing and it looks OK from the UK.

So I fitted it after deleting the swirl flaps (no difference noticed after removing the swirl flaps).

I'll let you guys know if anything is noticed by blanking the EGR.

    No noticeable difference.

So a couple of weeks after fitting the egr blank and no noticeable difference at all!

It's only been driven around town since the blanking plate was fitted so I'll update after a highway run.

Here's a photo of the blanking plate. It was about $13 delivered from Ebay and it is just a matter of taking the engine cover off, loosening the 2 nuts from the EGR pipe to the intake manifold and slipping it in. Doesn't throw any fault codes ( but on an 07 I didn't expect it too)

And if you wanted a photo of the car. Here is our FL2 07 SE TD4 with all the fruit, the protection pack, factory driving lights and Evoque 18" wheels, except the roof racks, they look dicky.

    EGR Blanking plate

I fitted a EGR blanking plate to our PSA diesel Peugeot td4 2.0. It’s similar to the PSA td4 2.2 fitted to the Freelander, Mondeo etc. it’s been good for prob 12 mths.
