    Replace or repair 12v sockets

Neither of my 12v sockets are working, i only use them for phone charging. There's the one up front near the dash with a green collar and one further back with a black collar. What's the trick to removing? I can prise them up a little way, but I feel if I go too hard I'll snap the collar rings. I feel like a bit of a dope!! Very annoying as my phone is old and doesn't hold charge.
    Thanks Jimmy.

Why didn't I think of that....The front 12V socket is labelled Cigar, location F45, sure enough, the 15A fuse is blown. This is a skinny format fuse with narrower blades. Are these available at Repco?
