Heading out the driveway from the farm to town a couple of weeks back, planted the foot on the accelerator and initially there was the customary move forward, then it sort of died in the backside so to speak. Then it came good again?

So off to our local service agent to get it checked out. On their inspection they advised that the turbo actuator seemed to be sticking or not functioning on occasions.

As with most of this sort of stuff you can't buy the actuator separately from LR. However, there is always another way.

The turbo is either a Mitsubishi product or used by them so they, Mitsubishi, actually supply the actuator as a spare part. Equally I note that there seems to be a plethora of them on EBay from various different folks.

Anyhow the actuator was duly replaced and the difference was both immediate and notable. Seems as though the actuator might not have been that well for some time.

Service Agent to the rescue.
