    What a joke

    Some of you may know I purchased a new vehicle for Nicky from Von Bibra and have had nothing but drama with it from day 1.

    Took it in for service today. Only done 30000kms all Tarmac. Told me air filter dirty need changing, said no thanks. Then proceeded to tell me brake fluid is dirty and we recommend flushing out and changing. I just looked at him. You're kidding brake fluid at 30000kms I don't think so. Dirty? How do you know that. What bloody rip off merchants. Obviously I said no.

    Luckily you can get it serviced by a quality, local garage (gotta find one though!) .....which is what we do with the Disco and the Golf (privately) and with the firm's (not mine) Mazda 6's and Discos. <50% of the cost and better service.

    What a joke

    They obviously get people that don't know any better. They also tried to tell me something else was dirty from fuel and that they could flush that for me for a price.
    God help anyone that has done a few kms. They would probably want to swap out the whole engine.

    If you still need someone Matt, the guy (Tony @ Victory Auto's, 55915902) in our complex here at Southport behind Von Bibra is really good, he's a mate of mine, he looks after my company cars, Steph's car, my kids cars and quite a few friends cars as well. These same idiots up the road at Bibra's tried to tell one of my customers (Air Con Tech) that the refrigerant gas degrades in his Navara and needs replacing after 12 months, Steve tore the service twit a new one in front of everyone in the service dept waiting room, telling them they were a bunch of lying arsehole's and that they wouldn't know what they were talking about. The service manager heard the commotion, came out and tried to quieten him down, Steve tried to get him to justify the comment and also called him a liar. Needless to say he doesn't take the car there anymore .

    Thanks mate. The only reason I go back is to keep warranty. With so much that has gone wrong with it, its safest option.
