Looks like I'm not the only one doing a day trip, not going to make it up for weekend but try for the day, not sure which day as yet will know closer to the time.

A little off topic, but I was looking at the reference page where tracks are rated and it mentioned recovery kits.
So , what would be expected to be in a basic recovery kit and a comprehensive recovery kit and also a comprenhesive self recovery kit.
Also, can anyone who went to the boonah weekend a month or so ago remember what the tracks were rated at?

i am interested in what it would have been rated as if it was a gold coast trip
I think that you are spot on the money with the ratings:cool:Quote:

Thanks for the replys.
What rating should the recovery points be. I have some on my car but don't know what they would be rated at.
Weeds, with the nissans and tojos at boonah, in what way were they struggling to complete the tracks? With my car and a couple of others which are basically standard , we made it through o.k. I haven't done much 4wdriving and haven't compared different cars performance , so i am interested in your comment.
I will have to make the time to do the driver awareness program soon, it should be a good experience.

You can pick up your permits on the day at the Caravan park just on Bribie if need be. Also campsite are first in no pre-booking needed.
