Hmm I'll await the price with interest, as I'm considering getting a set for my ute (which will eventually wear a tub rather than a tray).
Gotta get a new clutch first though.....

Should be around the $750 - $800 GCLRO club price , powder coated and fitted. Can make the tree slider to various dimensions out from the sill to suit all tyre types.:D Will be the same design as my D1 & D2 sliders as per photos. Hi lift jack friendly etc.

As you can see they are a very robust unit.
What if I already have some tree-sliders made up? Can you / would you attach them to the rock sliders if they met up to your standards?
What is the difference between rock sliders and tree sliders?
My understanding is "rock" slider protect from imapacts underneath the car i.e. impact directly on the underside of the sills and "tree" sliders protect from sideways impacts.....from trees and other objects rising vertically out of the ground or those higher than the sill of the car. My sliders for instance saved me a few weeks ago at Ormeau when I grounded and see sawed the car on a huge rock (rested it on both sills and the cross member - not one of my finer driving moments as it involved a short winch to pull me off the rock, thanks Justin!!) and then the tree parts saved me later in the day when I got a bit close to a tree.......they simply held the tree at bay whilst I deftly negotiated the tight turn;):D
Hope you know what I mean and that is my understanding of how it all works!!
Aye, Mick
Thanks Mick
Essentially the tube bars out the side of the sliders referring back to Justins photos - that also act as a step
