35" Tyres
Has anyone got or know someone who has 4 or 5 off, 35 x 12.5 x 15 or similar in an All Terrain pattern or a worn mud terrain (but still legal). Reason being I am going to take the Creepy,s off and drive to the weekend trips with a road set on the Rangie. Stuck the 32,s on today and went for a test. Flies up to 100km/h but it does rev a bit high from 100 - 110. So will see what the consumption is to and from the ""springs trip"''. So in the mean time if you hear of anything let me know.
Thanks
Justin

That was the issue I had with the Silverstones. Great tyre and dirt cheap but for any sort of easy-mod trip they're a dead set PIA. I went to DI point over the Christmas break and this comfirmed that they're great for play, but not for anything else.
I've now got a new set of Goodyear MT/R's (same size 285/75R16's as the Silverstones) but had them in the past and are a great all-rounder, sidewalls are strong (put a nasty gash in one and it cut the cord but still didn't puncture) and will do most things as you would expect, just ****ing expensive ($345 each new

). Also got some of those Dynamica rims 16x8's for $140 each to throw on the Vog once I get the body lift and flares all sorted.
At least I have 12 months to pay for them

Tyres
Thanks guys for the info.
Will try the changing tyres thing for the weekend trips, but thinking of a set of Pro Comp Xterrains as an all rounder. Just need to get the cash flow back and convince kathryn that I really need them
