Well I found the images, not as many pictures as I would have expected the folks to have.
The first and second image show the setting up in preperation for the crossing, you can see we had many people in the river to support the straps that we eventually had joined all the way accross.
It also shows the first vehicle to cross - Wayne Back in his 70series Toyota.
What you cant see in these pictures is my Father and Steve Curtis are already wadding in and out of the muddy water at the other side
The second two shots show Mike & Trish in their 60series Landcruiser at the exit just before the deepest spot (about half a foot deeper then what is shown), I can't quiet remember if they made it all the way but most cars got through and some unlucky vehicles got held up mid river.
You can see the last shot is my father and Steve exiting the muddy waters which they had probably spent in excess of 2 hours in
Steve (behind) is in the deepest spot it is hard to pick but he is upto his nipples, eventually he swam the remainder as it was easier then walking for him.
