Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in posting something.
Having looked at our pics, 95% are of my car (good work Mel!), but I have some videos.....
At the end of the second section of the creek run (which we explored on the Saturday), there's a small climb over some exposed roots. I used waaay too many numbers which resulted in a fairly bumpy ride and some momentary air for the front axle!

Grimace showing how it can be done with far fewer numbers and no lockers!

Some of us (Pete, JohnR, GuyG, Me & Grimace) went for an explore on the Sunday morning. Pete led us through a tricky gully: (nice video of the mud Mel!)

See Dave's (djhampson) post for videos me and Grimace through the same gully. Elliot was shouting "Go Daddy, Go", even when we nearly drove down the side of the bank (see JohnR's pic).
And the last one - Elliot talking to the cows eating the "gross grass", "cows, no eating the grass please".

We arrived to camp just in time to see everyone making their way to the tracks. Big thanks to Grimace for staying and helping us to air down so we could join in the morning fun.
We had some great new driving experiences. We watched all going through the nice little mud hole and wondered how we would go.
Thanks to some great tips from Pete we almost made it - now we have muddies high on the "wish list" for upgrading the car. We got so close, but needed just a little snatch to get over the last slippery log - thanks to the recovery team[biggrin]
After lunch we headed back out with Stevo's group and had a little fun in the playground. After some encouragement from the group, I got up the nerve to try the dips and what a rush when I made it out the other side.
Big thanks to Stevo for being the trip leader and guiding us around (and for showing us what to avoid ):clap2:
We both had a great weekend. Thanks to all.
Kayti.
Sorry my report has taken a while. I got a new piece of software and I have been playing with the photo's.......
What a great weekend, as everybody else has said. I am not usually a huge fan of Levuka as it has the tendancy to scary the pants off you at times when sliding down muddy hills  I must say I still scared the pants off a couple of times when we slid down a couple of hills as passengers in our own car :o
But the new KM2 tyres and twin lockers made a huge difference on the rest of the tracks. :D I can highly recomend the KM2's they're awesome!
anyway on with the photo's:
First creek run was fun with a few slides on the rocks!

A nice bog hole. Which had a few trying hard. I must say I was really impressed with the traction control on the D3's and the Puma's! I am not really sure what tweedle dum and tweedle dumber are doing here???

I don't think Pete even noticed the hole in his revamped Beastly "Little Landy!"

Couple of pics from Levuka Trip. Was great fun.
Arrived Friday evening having had the diff pinion seal replaced (thanks Pete) setup tent and then sat around the fire. Saturday morning I had to go get fuel, (Urbanville has Deisel, 91 and 95 Octane Unleaded and is only 10km away), the tank was reading about half but it drops extremely quickly after that and I didn't want to run the risk of being out of fuel somewhere in the bush. Saturdays driving was fun - pretty sure I did all the tracks that Pete took us through, even a couple I've chickened out of in the past. Sunday morning I packed up everything as I wanted to see what was the best way to carry it all in the car while 4wding to ensure that it didn't move. The last thing you need is a jerry can bouncing round the back of the car. We installed tiedown points for the Cape Trip but didn't actually need them, however they did work very well as nothing moved during the Sunday morning drive.
Got rid of any cobwebs that may have been lurking anywhere in the car:twisted:. It was a nice change to be able to use the car properly and not have it start to overheat due to a) the incorrect timing (Gordons Country) or b) an old viscous fan hub (Emu Creek).
Thanks to Jaffa for the suggestions on where to trim the inner rear guards to stop the tyres rubbing/being sliced - this worked well, the only rubbing I heard was from the tyres on the radius arms on full lock, although there was evidence that they also rubbed above the rear springs.
