    hi all,
    Another great trip!
I am a bit annoyed that number 2 son and I decided not to do that last run and head back to camp. Missed all the fun .

All in all, I am pleased as punch with the progress I am making with the disco. We only finished fitting sliders Fri arvo and they have payed for themselves three fold! Turbo lag is gone so it does as it's told, when I tell it!

The company was great. There is something therapeutic about sitting around with a group of fellow hunters, wheeling, scoffing bacon and drinking beer!

I have 23GB of footage from my dash cam, here's two of the better ones.
One shows the moment my sliders payed for themselves and the other has a nice father sone bit with fluffy in the background. I'll upload some more later.

Well here is some good news. The Pinz is insured with Shannons and they have agreed to cover the damage. The important parts seem to be that LCMP are a registered park, that they have speed limits and road rule signs and that I was not partaking of Motor Sport at the time. Now I just have to get a quote and we will see if anybody can actually repair it or at least try . Anybody know a good repairer around Mt Gravatt? I only know one I have used through another insurance company and they were ok to deal with.

    Cheers,

    Tim.

    Good news.

Don't know any in Mt Gravatt but can highly recommend The Bump Shop over at Eagle Farm. We've used them a few times over the years and as well as luxury vehicles they do classics and customs etc. Tom had some extensive panel work and full paintjob done on his e-type about 30 years back... 25 years later they had no issue keeping to the lifetime warranty and fully restripping and repainting due to an issue.

Wow, I always wanted to be a member of an exclusive club .

I don't think I will go for a multi year membership though, costs too much .

Cheeky still has her little bruise that she goes around showing off to any 4x4 that will listen to her boasting about what a rough and tough Rover she is.

    So my membership was Free

I think we may have to have a meeting of the executive committee of the Sub-committee of the club, Looking at the pictures - Grimace might have just qualified for membership.....?

I will have to get the membership sub sub committee to inspect the damage...

Just a broken tail-light will not cut it but..

I don't believe I have flopped on a club trip and any time I have flopped its been in a bank that I was able to drive out of, so unfortunately I don't qualify.
