    Ballina

Well got off to a bit of a late start this morning but managed to get down to Ballina. Passed Bullets on the way there and back, thought he might be keen to take shorty for a spin but he looked very busy.
Met with Steve and his young fella at the Caravan park and waited for a few others but came to the realisation we were going to be the only candidates.
We headed onto what was a very very windy beach. Although low tide, the tides were not out very far. This was fine heading towards Evans Heads but on the return trip proved very soft as not much beach and the old Series had to work hard.
Kids had an absolute blast. Fishing, scooting up and down sand dunes and checking out the rock pools.
Exists off the beach were pretty chewed up from the sand being so soft but both the old girls put some of the new trucks to shame and scooted up no problem. Having said that we did lower tyre pressures to about 15 to be on the safe side.
Steve stayed at the caravan park overnight and I'm sure will post a few more pics.

    Unhappy

    Hey Shepp
Sorry Steph and I couldn't get there. I was looking forward to it, I was going to drive Ralph down but
unfortunately we lost our Border Collie Beth on Saturday after she had breakfast, she laid down for a rest
and never woke up. We were lucky though to have over 16 great years with her. She is sadly missed.
    Regards Ian

Looks like the weather was not so bad, I had car repairs to complete on Friday and had to help out at the farm (Emu Creek) over the weekend so unfortunately missed out!

Good to see you and the kids enjoyed the weekend, it's a great place for a relaxing weekend!

Sorry not sure what happened to the pics. Very sad about the dog Ian.
Boys had a blast scooting down the dunes.
