But at least they did stop once home.
The same can not be said about a ( use to be ) very popular brand.

Well I must be the biggest looser. My wife and I own a Land Rover D2, a VW Polo and a Suzuki 4wd Ute.
Ive also owned Leyland Marina. Which was the only car Ive made money on.
I know this is a while ago and we all hope that the methodology used has improved since.
About 15 years ago Choice used to rate something called Leyland (This 10 years after the brand had died in Australia) as some of the most reliable cars in Australia. At the same time ranking Jaguar at the bottom.
Think the survey said more about the kinds of cars driven by the readers than anything else.
Or the stupid broad who put the Winnebago onto cruise control, and went back into the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee. Not so stupid...took the manufacturer to court and won a damages claim becuae there was no specific advice written or otherwise to the new owner, that cruise control could not steer or otherwise control the vehicle. Give us a break !!
bah should i be worrying as i have a disco II a td5 defender and a transit with the puma engine? :D
Didnt think so......
Steve
i know that land rover has a bad rep for being un reliable and im not just saying this because im on here but our defender is more reliable then most of our friends cars with similar age and kms actually we have pretty much only done maintance work on our 14 yr old car:D
The last few years of the new shape Golf have had a lot of reliability issues - its not just JD Power saying that it is Australian Motoring press, and driving organisations. They have had a host of electrical problems in particular. Only the GTI is still made in Germany, otherwise the Australian imports are from South Africa. Like look great, the door makes a great noise when shutting, they drive well and they are well priced...I took all that into account and then bought a new Accord Euro. I agree that JD has some issues, but the issues are applied to all manufacturers. So in that sense for LR to keep coming last is depressing.
Cheers
How do they come up these results:confused:
Guess it depends if they call a non show stopper a problem. The coin tray rattles, I broke the cup holder as a 600m coke bottle wouldn't fit, The sunroof leaks in the rain wile open etc.
Wonder how many are really problems?
Very surprised to see a few makes near the bottom.
