    Hi twitchy, my home depot at the time was Delec but I spent 6 months at Lithgow on loan.

    Quite a few of us were living in the barracks, across the road from loco.

    Some more from QR this time in use ones.

    !. Cabin in suburban electric.
    2.Suburban electric..Just before coming into service.
    3.One of the first to run on Qld Railways....restored and running on the Bundamba tourist line.

    Here’s some Aussie snow, this is Ardglen, at the top of the Liverpool Range, just south of Tamworth.

    The photo is not mine and I don’t know who took it so I can’t give any credit to who ever took it.

    My rail beginnings were in NSW but since moving to QLD, I’ve found the QR is by far, far more interesting.

    Don’t get me wrong, still love train chasing in NSW but Qr has just so much more diversity.

    Here’s a couple of pics I took in 1972 and then the others were taken over the last few years.
