    Some fine photos,have always liked the old steam locomotives.We have Puffing Billy near by so get a fix now and again when it passes by.

    Yes, I can see how those photos would remind you of your commute trip.
    Look at a couple with a bit of a squint & you can see the countryside along the Sydney railway lines.

    That is the funniest piece of railway engineering I have seen personally. The Pichi-Richi tourist rail extension from Stirling North to Pt Augusta is laid across the rolling terrain old style (ground level as it comes) while the modern rail link is level as a billiard table. The old Ghan looks like its on a roller coaster from the Stirling North end...
