    Safe work practices......

thought I'd like to see if any of you have seen these NEW AGE CAR RAMPS?

this was taken 2-4-10 by me. This bloke has driven up the "ramp" until he has wedged the top against the inside tyre (flat) and rim. He then jacked up the other side onto a car stand.

He then spent a long time working under it!!

anyone else seen some good safe working practices??

We live on a reasonably steep hill.

The bloke next door had his car up on two tree stumps, jacked up on the high side of the hill.

Nothing to stop it rolling off the stumps and down the hill, and the car was jacked on a ridiculously steep angle.

    What a cheapskate.
Should have bought another from Superc&%$p and had a matched pair of ramps.

Having a lot at the pic, the trolley is laying in front of the wheel giving an illusion the wheels are not actualy on it. , the car is suppoeted under the diff by a jack of some sort

No, look again, because I took the photo, the car is on the outside 'rail' of the sack truck, the other side of the car is held up by a car stand (which I thought you bought in pairs, so where is the other one??)

if I took it from the back it doesnt make it clear its a sack truck, so I thought this angle best... but fair dinkum, no bull...the car is on the sack truck!!

Not sure whether work cover would approve of this method of underpinning.
