I wouldn't mind that shorty.
Went for a drive from Albury up to Porpunka, Bright, then a cross to Mt Beauty.
On the way there, spotted a Red Disco, very dirty, wondered if I was one from here, I did wave, but I doubt he spotted me, as I was driving my sisters Falcon. That was between Myrtleford and Porpunka, then at Porpunka I spotted a Defer by the river with an "L" plate on it.
Then, whilst going over the Gap we passed another Defer which I waved at,,,, and low and behold,, I got a wave back :MileStone: never thought I'd see the day when I was in "car", and would get a wave from a Landy. WooHoo :D
Damn I wish I'd been in my Defer :(
spotted a group of disco's sat arvo on what looked to be 31's-33" tyres heading into labertouche forest area as we were heading out. Almost touched door handles with one as we both did the 'lifted rover lean' round a bend!
i was in my rangie followed by a GU ute and wagon.
anyone from here?
Whilst getting about at work yesterday I spotted a silver Puma (White roof) in Wang. It looked like it had a 'Mulgo' style camper roof coversion? Dual wheel carriers and a high mount gas bottle on the rear.
Very nice rig!
I wanted to say I didn't see a Defender with a white roof, but I did.
At the giant koala.

You can just make it out on the right.
Sorry Gary, but I just had to.
I also saw a familiar roof top tent

There was a Discovery under it.
Was that you waving Shane?
Saw lots of Discovery's. They seem to be more popular than Landcruisers.
From memory he has an Aulro account but he is not an active member, probably too busy enjoying his travels.... ;-)
His spare wheel carrier he fabricated from bits 'n pieces purchased at Rijidij Offroad (Murray).
The one in the background of the below picture is the one you must have seen. This pic was taken on the Big Red in October 2012.

Cheers,

Well, we've just had 4 days on the road to Portland and back, and during that time we've seen quite a collection of Landies.
We were driving the Puma with fishing rods on the front bar, feeling very relaxed, and in cruising mode. ;)
Probably of most worthy note was the D3/4 spotted in Port Fairy who was more than eager to wave at us as we approached, twice even :D,,
Then there was the Motor Home coach towing a yellow 90,, looking very cool,,
And to top it off, we ran into (not literally) "110 dude", at a reserve in Princetown, who waved furiously as we entered the park :D
Also along the way we spotted a couple of "Orkney Grey"(?) 110's on the GOR as well as a couple of 130's, a green 110 County (? , thinking it looked like Murray) just out of Geelong this arvo.
A few more spotted and waved at, including Discos, 1,2,3's some waved some didn't, all in all, a very satisfying "spotting" trip :D
Thanks to all those who waved, I'm sorry if I missed waving at anyone who may have spotted me, and also sorry if I've missed pointing you out on here.
Also spotted today on the way home (or it may have been yesterday), traveling in convoy towards Portland way, was about 15 or so Fire truck with lights on.
I felt quite emotional when I passed these guys, giving them all a wave, as their off I'm guessing, to help with the fires further west.
But the very last vehicle to pass us in the convoy was a Defender. It took us by suprise, so I can't tell you if it was a 110 or 130,, but it looked good all dressed in impressive Red.
What ever your up to boys,, thanks.
