That would have been me in the early 94 3dr. Nice looking rig you have.
Saw a very nice light sky blue D2 in Mordialloc the other night. Waved but as usual the can't see through the tint side on.
Out & about today & spotted what looked like a neat Series 3 with N.S.W plates in Wyndham Vale. Vic.
I saw a nice lifted D2 going over the Westgate the other day.Looked pretty well set up and then I noticed the AULRO sticker on the back.
From what I could see it said Krazy Keegs I think.
I see a variety of Land Rovers daily as I drive in the traffic to pay for my Land Rover habit
In the last day or so I've seen(well looked at twice)...
A nice D2a with rear ladder but no roof rack towing a galvanized trailer.
This was on the Melbourne Ring Rd near the Craigieburn exit.
A grey Defender with lights of the roof rack, looked like tourer rather than a play toy.
A regular spot is a D2 with a yellow flashing roof light bar.
It tows the powered mobile road works signage trailers.
Today on the Western Hwy heading from Bacchus Marsh to Melton a White Defender.
It was a 6X6 with a full camper conversion.
I spotted it while heading the other way so more of a glance than a good look.
Just around the corner from me in Chelsea there is a clean and straight silver D1 300tdi manual with side steps. Drives past my office 3 to 5 times a week.
Glad to see people with older models still looking after them and keeping them going in mint condition.
Also saw a copper / bronze D2 in Chelsea Heights yesterday and a dark brown D4 with mum and kids on board trying to find a space outside the school.
Spotted Chops sunning him self in a camp chair next to his Deefer , And i thought he worked hard![]()
