Spotted whilst out and about in Vic

Spotted a Puma 110 CC ute this morning. He was parked at a "Hot Rod" show in Hallam/Dandy.
I was there to see the hot rods, but ended up talking with the owner of the 110 for about an hour and a half.
I feel bad at this point, as I cant think if he was John or Matt,,, and he's from ARB, and its their old red ute that he has bought. :D
Was good talking with him, and as you can imagine, we talked all things Landy and ARB,,, as you do ;)

Found out some good things, and I will also try to organise something for early next year with ARB if I can.
Had an embarrassing moment with him :angel:. I blamed my stuffed tyres on ARB's tyre deflator from an episode a couple of weeks ago. So when I showed it to him, ummm,, its not theirs :eek:,,, my bad. But, he did tell me how to fix it,, awesome. :D

I think I just broke my "landy wave" duck !!:eek:
So excited I didn't get a close look.
Traveling along Coppin Street in Richmond this afternoon, a cream/off-white 110 or County wagon (sorry I'm not the best spotter) came towards me. I waved and got a nice big arm out the window wave in return :D
I feel blessed.
You don't seem to get waved at in a Rangie Sport :(

Nice one - yes, waves are infrequent when driving around in the newer marques - I never get any waves returned when driving the L322 but I do in the old Rangie and in the 101.

I'm guilty of only waving to selective Landy's - especially in metro areas. Even in my D1 I don't bother waving to most other Disco's. If I can see the driver I keep an eye on them in case they look over, but in most cases they don't even glance in my direction. Country areas and more remote, damn straight I wave at Landy's!


So who lives around the Mordialloc area anyway? I'm sure I've seen posts from a number of people who live here. I've just recently moved and I've seen a few Disco's around, but not sure if they are AULROians.

I didn't spot this one in Victoria though they had Vic plates on.

Knocking off just before at Midnight from a 12 hour shift i rolled into the hotel in Devonport, Tasmania to see a nice looking dark green ( I think it was that colour) 110 County. Set up as a nice touring truck by the look of it. With an AULRO sticker in the back window and Pete on the drivers side front fender.

If i wake up early enough in the morning i'll go out and check it out again. Maybe even find the owner.

Saw a great looking white Iveco 4X4 thing, pulling a caravan, at the round-a-bout of Canterbury Rd and York Rd in Montrose/Mount Evelyn today, around 10am.

I gave the devil horns out the window. \m/:twisted:\m/

Have seen a few around the Mordy area also. Mine has a RTT on top at the moment but will come off in about 2 weeks time so will be a white bare disco again.
