Cruising home from work today, brain switched to weekend mode, saw a nice blue landy on the Monash in-bound. As I passed, I noticed an AULRO sticker in the back window! Tooted and waved, got a nice wave in return.
Looked good, with snorkel & winch too!
Didn't get the full name on the sticker, "DEF-???"
I spotted a dark grey, V8, D2a towing a boat on a tandem boat trailer last night. It was traveling east on Canterbury Road, Bayswater North.
If you're on this forum, that crappy blue Commodore that passed you just after Boronia Road, that was me.
Oh, by the way, you had no tail lights and no brake lights on the car or trailer.
Saw a nice black Puma Defender 90 with sawtooths parked in Doyles on Sunday morning, then saw you driving along Station St & waved to you from the footpath (we were walking!),...you waved back!!..Anyone on here?
Pickles.
Had a crapy weekend this last one.
Went up to Albury in "the car" as opposed to the Defender
Spotted several LR's of various models, especially a 130 on the way back home with yellow on the rear cross member and front bumper.
Another very nice 110 SW heading off the Bolte Bridge about 7:30pm.
Either of you from here ?
Not mine, but I'm often in that area and have seen it a few times. I walk our dog on browns reserve just off station street![]()
Howdy neighbours. Not mine either, but have you had the ribs at Doyles / Bridge hotel? They're delicious.
If you see a well used charcoal D1 around, that's me.
G'Day Judo, Doyles is absolutely the best.
We live in Aspendale, so we are regulars,...we can "indulge",...then we can walk home.
We spend a "few" dollars on the back deck (restaurant)....Eye fillet (medium rare) (Doyles do it well) & a good bottle of red.
Pickles.
Saw this 101 driving down the Princes Freeway this morning.
Got a wave and a thumbs up as we drove past![]()
