It's about time we Victorians had one of these threads.
Whilst travelling to Cranbourne South at 11am Sat April 14th 2010, I spotted at Anthony's Cutting west bound on the Western Highway one red RRC with what looked like grey primer sprayed around a sunroof closely followed by a dark coloured (possibly matt black) with a light coloured roof series three bouncing along behind.
I thought "they've got to be AULROers".
I'll play...
Spotted out Greensborough way on Sunday the 11th April, a nice looking D2 with rego R1CEY. Not sure if they're a member here.
And,
There's a house in Warrnambool on the main drag, western end of town, they have a white D1 and a red Rangey out the front most of the time I'm out that way. I think they might even have a Pootrol too. Once again, not sure if they're members here.
This morning I was taking the SIII Stage 1 into Melbourne.
At Anthony's Cutting (again, there must be a Landrover nexux there) I saw a White 4 door defender towing a trailer with a dark green Series 1 ute on the back.
They had to be forumites.
No photo's again, it happened all too quick.
You'll just have to use your imagination.
If that was a 130 then they were on their way to a series 1 Gathering at Mt Egerton
I was in a mates FG XR8 on Saturday. Itself a very nice car. We were travelling along the Deer Park bypass when we heard a very nice burbling noise. We were passed by a very nice looking dark metallic green P38(I think). The badge on the back read 6.2 HSE.
I don't usually take notice of Range Rovers but this one was worth taking notice of.
I got passed by someone from here on friday arvo... Big thumbs up from them. Going down the hill in Vermont south area.
So... big hello back. To whoever you were.
HB....I think it was more like this....
and then .....
Followed by .....
Good looking Defender too. Good work.
Cheers.
