Scania Type 3 & 4 Pumpers have automatic deploying steps for the crew cab. It sure helps when you exit the cab with CABA on your back
not sure about the steps on the Scania, but the ones on the Freightliner are better described as a flight of stairs.

You can see them in this pic from Corowa this year.

They even have a balustrade, that doubles as the side of the truck and steps when the device is stowed.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Wouldn't it be more of a "cunning idea" to alleviate the necessity of such a device by hanging around more flexible women?

If a nice lass cannot get her knees around her ears to mount the passenger seat of the vehicle, surely this should be a sign that she is not the one to continue courting. Albeit a thoughtless act of chivalric behaviour on the gentlemans behalf, a well placed hand could motivate her into the seat very quickly and start a nice topic of conversation in the vehicle.
