Did you join due to someone else?

I was looking for some landy info & pics & this site poped up so i went looked & liked it heaps so i joined the best thing i ever done ..

I stumbled across the site predecessor (IIRC) while I was looking for Landy info back in 2002. Joined and have been here since.

I was trying to justify something I have always wanted, another Land Rover, found this site and joined strieght away, never looked back bought the Disco , made new friends learned more about the Land Rover than any other car I have owned.

(Some things I wish I didn't need to learn about) 3 amegos etc.

Great site imformative helpful and sometimes very amusing.

I was looking for a new vehicle, I actually had a Ford Explorer when I joined, even went to the first ACE's BBQ in it:D

Don't knock the Explorer, I pulled a certain forum member out of trouble with it:p

I was googling Series 2 wiring diagrams and found the stickies that used to be in the Series 2/2a section.

I joined due to a google search on something LR related and came up with AULRO ,
Found it very interesting and friendly so i joined that easy ;)

I stumbled across this sites predecessor but in those days I was on $14/h 28.8kbps modem connection. It was more effective for me to stick with the LROCV contacts at the time if I had any questions.

As internet access improved I found AULRO.com as I was looking for information on my D1 or was it when I was buying the D2a, can't remember:confused: Anyway, been here since but did come close to leaving recently.

Just checking out info about Defer's,, and here I am,,, but still no Defer,,:(
