    Did you join due to someone else?

    Just wondering

    I joined this forum due to "ACE"..in 05

    I answered an ad in a 4WD classified mag which got me in contact with Ace and consequently he put me to this forum.

    And thanks to this forum and the generous people in it I now have some friends I wouldn't want to be without.

    I honestly can't remember what particularly caused me to join up but I think I found it myself rather than was told about it. back in the original days when i was lurking it was called the Black Stump or something like that. Or maybe that was different and when it shut down I found this one from people on that one.

    Hmm, time clouds memories eh.
    It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Can't remember when I joined - but if I remember rightly, it was as the result of a message from George130 to me via the LRO Magazine forum (which I have long since stopped haunting - AULRO is much better and more relevant, although I still read the magazine).
