You had best not even think of leaving

You are the person responsible for my being a member of AULRO and therefore should you ever decide to leave I would hope the following:

You have wooden legs and get caught in a bushfire

Don't ever even consider leaving Derek

Don't remember how I found tis but being a member of LROCV I suspect I probably heard about it from there.

I probably watched for a year before I could muster up the courage to join as I am not very good with computors or the computer talk from the young ones, and I was a bit nervous I would make a fool of my self.

Some will say I have done a good job of this

I think I Yahoo'd it (I'm sure it was before Google took over the world!). It was really slow back then and didn't have many members. I'd check it every now and then and all of sudden one day the server was no longer slower than the asthmatic snail that it once was and the membership exploded.... so I got active on here.

    Once upon a time....

many many years ago in a kingdom called Overlander Forum (I lurked and didn't join in much)

a character by the name of Phoenix (one of those Land Rover types) suggested a portal to a place called AULRO

....a place where Land Rover Owners could all live happily ever after.

I was a daily forum member of The Australian Range Rover Pages until it started to dwindle and I googled and found AULRO, can't remember how long ago but it's some years.

But I've never been to Adelaide...!!

I found AULRO through a link on the LROCWA website, which I only found about after reading a copy of their mag in a local LR repairers, while I was (believe it or not), waiting for my newly purchased D2 to have its blown engine diagnosed!

My Mate told me about this forum and we both joined years ago.I went for a worldwide walkabout and when I returned I had forgotten my user name so I rejoined under the present.I have found it to be very useful, informative and good fun which I can say is a credit to its administrators.
