When I got to the point where I was seriously considering purchasing a LR, I went looking for information on them, given their checkered history. This site is great for data, and assistance. It certainly helps to know you are not alone, particularly as the LR service network is so sparse.

I think I joined due to someone else. I was looking for a 4wd and have always liked the Deefers, though didn't really know anything about them, having had a 1984 model Pootrol at one stage - heap of excrement that one was, anyway a mate at work said he had a 96 Disco that was good on the juice and another guy at work had a 2000 model V8 Disco and he described landrovers as being like family pets; they might take some work but you learn to love them. I looked up this site and damn, now I'm addicted. Even the wife doesn't dare suggest I get rid of the mistress (95 110 300 TDi)
