You get used to it. Best part about the New England weather is that 30 degrees is a hot day in summer :D

i love the heat
Last few nights have been coolish; 2C last night. Fire in the stove since Tuesday night, keeps the whole house nice and warm. Will need to cut some more wood in a few days.

3 tonnes of Jarrah split logs delivered to the driveway $660 the otehr week
Parter took 4 hours to move the logs off the driveway and stack them in the garage, offered to take the morning off to help her, said no go to work l can manage, what a woman.
$660 thats a fair bit
my SWMBO's thermostat is permanently faulty..:confused:.needs the fire lit if it drops below 15 here, then gets up to 24 and she is in a spencer pullover and cardy whilst I am sweltering in shorts & t-shirt!!!!!:mad:
Bloke cutting wood on my place at the moment tells me he delivers two tonnes of split ironbark for $400 - not much different.

we use to get a tonne for about $90 and thats was cut but not split
