Question Does anyone have an Armstrong Trolley Jack diagram?

My Armstrong trolley jack (Model M901) has stopped jacking

I can get it to raise if I pump vigorously but any weight on it and it will descend. With no weight on it, it very slowly descends too. The sticker on the front is hardly legible and I seem to recall seeing an exploded diagram of one several years ago.

Anyone got something they can scan and email me or point me at a website. I suspect it's just a seal or something but I've never played around with the workings of it before.

Sounds like it is low or out of oil, there should be a philip's head screw or small bolt on the upper face of the cylinder, that is to refill it, hydraulic jack oil is available from most motor spares places, Supercheap used to stock it, Valveline from memory.

    cheers

There's two slotted screws in the top of the housing block. One to the left of the handle and piston, one to the right. The one on the left opens in to fluid, the one on the right to a second inner grub screw

I also have an Armstong trolley jack with a simalar problem (not sure on which model no: it is 1.5 tonne and about 30 years old) I topped my oil up, and it improved a little but I suspect it is leaking in the valve, I could not find any info. on the web, so havn't tried pulling it apart yet.

    Cheers, Mick.

Found out today I should be able to get a seal kit for the jack. So I'll hunt this down and go from there.
