Hadspen's a nice little commute to Launceston. Only about 10 mins away from where I live in Longford.
Still, prepare yourself for 40+ in Summer and the sun burning you faster than anywhere else I've been.

Good on you. What vehicle should I keep an eye out for?

    Welcome to Hadspen.com

Hadspen is an attractive, small historic town located 18km from the City of Launceston, and situated on the banks of the South Esk River.

Perfect for those who prefer the quiet life, yet want the convenience of the City only 20 minutes drive away, Hadspen is the ideal place to settle down and raise your family, or to take the whole tribe on a holiday.

At Hadspen you will find -

    • A Holiday Resort, a Retirement Village, a bottle shop, tavern and a Caravan Park
    • A supermarket, stocking many grocery and hardware lines, hot take-away food and petrol
    • A Newsagency, which includes a giftshop and Australia Post Outlet
    • Hairdressing Salon
    • Parks, BBQ facilities, public toilets, riverbank walking tracks, cricket nets, a cricket oval and a multi-purpose tennis court
    • Plenty of accessible fishing spots on the riverbank
    • Entally House and The Red Feather Inn, both with a rich colonial history.

A chemist, a Doctors Surgery, a large Woolworths Supermarket, and the Country Club Casino are all located at nearby Prospect, only 5 minutes drive away.

With all this convenience right at your door step, why would you ever want to leave?

    sounds Great!!
