Just had a look at the link posted most of what is there is by bush lawyers vic may be different but in nsw the courts have already ruled in favour of ANCP the rta has to give them the details and in nsw they do not use the term fine read it carfully it is a statement of claim and if it does go to court you have to prove you do not owe the money they only have to make the claim that you do. Remember all these claims are for private property so if you enter you have to abide by the rules stated usally at the entry of the car park in very small writing

About 5 years ago there was a couple of businesses on the Gold Coast who clamped cars parked in private car parks and demanded inordinate sums ofmoney to release them. They claimed they were authorised by the legitimate users of the spaces to control unauthorised use of the spaces.

One day one of their employees clamped the car of the current dolly bird squeeze of a major Gold Coast criminal. Bad mistake. Dolly complained to Sugar Daddy who sent a couple of his "workers" around to the clampers office to negotiate the release and to teach manners and respect to the proprietor.

I was given the story by a Southport detective. Clamper had no friends at the police station and the local wallopers were greatly amused by the outcome.

I was told that the clamp was hacked off by whatever means and dumped on the desk of the owner. The phone lines cut and the office staff told that Mr. X (the clamper) had given them the afternoon off on full pay. Mr. X was then given some instruction in manners and respect and told it might be a good idea to leave the coast as he was not liked and harm may befall him.

Tell all your mates, associates who get done by private companies to list me as the driver, sure it will cost them $33.00, but hey, they'll be in front.
    Happy to do it
