So , do they charge $ 35 for going up to T'Phone Box junction on Queen's B'Day weekend

We wanted to do a day trip from Mansfield up to Craigs for lunch and back via Cobbler.

    Will do.

Am planning on Binderee but crowds may suggest otherwise...

Can't say for sure as this will be my first time up that way but according to Mt Buller yes you would be charged. Parks say they should let you through.

the old road to the junction has now been changed
you must go through the Buller gates at the start then turn left and head to the junction......

    Hey Goodog

I'd suggest you ring Mt Stirling board of management first.

You will have to pay $ 35 per vehicle to enter at Mirimbah and the Road is closed at Telephone Box junction according to them.

Unless you can come in the back way somehow

I didn't think they closed it until after this weekend.

Apparently they have had a bit of snow and it is currently snowing up there.

Thanks Pete, so I assume you called them. Parks Vic map suggests that gate does get closed early sometimes and i have heard of people getting locked in.

The only other way in is via sheepyard that I know of?

    What a pain.
