    rust proofing

Any ideas as to which is the most effective way to protect the underneath of my defender from rust, planning beach and fishing trips this winter.

Couple of cans of Lanox over the chassis and anywhere you can get to inside it. In fact, anywhere you like- got nuts.

High pressure water clean afterwards or firehose if you can get access. Then do the Lanox treatment again.
