Must say the extra time was quite nerve wrecking!

Not being a full time professional footballer and doing this well just shows the dedication.
    Well done again.

It was good to hear confidence in the voices of those interveiwed in the aftermatch bit. Seems like the consensus is the job is not done yet.

Paraguay in a few days time. Not much of a turn around.

We have to be proud of the NZ team, they are not playing for the $$$$ they play for the country
Italy got another penalty call..........looks like that Australia and NZ are not allowed to beat the italians

has always had me amused why people/clubs/countries spend so many millions upon millions of dollars on such a corrupt event.

    but it is a spectacle..

FIFA need to get some uniformity in their decisions and may video umpire now like all other sports. There have been way too many dodgy decisions at the last few World Cups. IMHO both Cahill and Kewell were not even close to red cards and should have been over ruled, but currentlly the refs do not have to answer for their actions. There have been far worse missed including spikes out.
Used to play a bit of soccer and at worst Kewells was a penalty if that as it was top of the shoulder and his arms were straight down and back.
Look may not have changed any result, but refs have to be accountable for blatant bad decisions.
I quite like my Soccer and used to play, but do not usually even watch the World Cup because there is just too many bad refs and actors.

These days the refs have a following in their own right. They earn a fortune and want to make a name for them selves. In the old days refs did not stand out, they were simply another job like a medico. But no more, these guys get attention from making big calls and kicking the kewels of the world out. It is a joke and I really hope its not just us but other parts of the world are sick of the inconsistency.

Yellow cards should give you 10 minutes off the field. If you fall over in pain you are unable to take a free kick, if you suddenly get up you get sent off for 10 mins. North korea showed us all how real men play the game. No acting there.
