    It's ford versus holden, collingwood vs carlton.

    Every one having a field day shooting off their mouths, but no one is game to get up an run for PM themselves, seems every one can do a better job driving from the back seat.
    It's such an easy job that's why everyone wants to take it on??????
    Speaking of "shooting off one's mouth"....always amuses me when someone has a "shot" at the collective....by doing exactly the same .

    In terms of your comments....do you suggest people zip their mouths shut and not make comment? Is this not a democracy whereby we can make our voice known in respect to our government, the team we barrack for or our preferred V8.

    Maybe back to the Soapbox where you can continue your litany of threads where you are "not complaining"

    Regards

    Stevo

    So what you're saying is it's not worth complaining!

    Frankly I couldn't care less about Holden or Falcon and don't know enough about Melbourne suburbs to know which one of the two you mention would be better to live in.

    About politics in Australia, I guess I'm one of the classic swinging voters. Have voted for both parties and the Australian Democrats and was once asked by one of the major parties to stand for them.

    Further to that I don't believe that I have unfairly critisized any politician, but have challenged others to objectively look at the history of one particular Prime Minister (whom I personally disliked greatly I may add).

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    with our presidential style elections now I dont think you can rightly call Gillard the prime minister until she wins an election off her own platform. Leader of the government - yes, prime minister - no.

    I also dont think that she will get a significant portion of the female vote. I think a big portion of the populous sees her as asexual - neither male no femal. She is seen as being just as arrogant as Rudd but cold as well. But damm I think she will give Abbott a much bigger run than Ruddy ever would.

    fair shake of the sauce bottle, good riddance kevy747, kdudd, crudd or what ever manages to get called for the current debacle that epitomised his period of leadership.

    Perhaps we should just vote in Hamish & Andy as the next PM. They probably wont be able to do the job any better than the current bunch of jokers, but at least their jokes are funny

    actually a lot of what has been said constitutes sedition under Section 24 of the Federal Crimes Act 1914. (re-introduced by the Howard Government I may add)

    Section 24 defined a seditious intention as [a]n intention to effect any of the following purposes:
    (a) to bring the Sovereign into hatred or contempt;
    (d) to excite disaffection against the Government or Constitution of the Commonwealth or against either House of the Parliament of the Commonwealth;
    (f) to excite Her Majesty's subjects to attempt to procure the alteration, otherwise than by lawful means, of any matter in the Commonwealth established by law of the Commonwealth; or
    (g) to promote feelings of ill-will and hostility between different classes of Her Majesty's subjects so as to endanger the peace, order or good government of the Commonwealth;

    So we should all refrain from our seditious words.

    I'm disenchanted with the whole system.
    I have never voted for the Coalition or Labour. Even the alternatives are a bit dodgy.

    None of them can be trusted.
    Blind faced lying, spin, and cover ups, to preserve their own egos and power base, I'm sick of it.

    Family first, fishing party, shooters party, gay and lesbo party.

    Any chance we could get an AULRO party up and running before the next election.
