I dont think you can track anywhere northwest of tibooburra. you might do better from adelaide or the flinders ranges north up the borefield rd to birdsville track. via coober pedy. best to do a real serious check yourself, but I had recent info from an oil exploration company trying to get to their rigs. if youve had very recent advice telling you tracks are clear then ignore mine. best of luck theres some driving where you want to go.
the borefield track meets the oodna track at bopeechee corner,

left is lake eyre south, curdimurka, then william creek where north is oodna and onto mount dare and dalhousie, west is to lake cadibarrawirracanna (oz's longest place name) and coober pedy.

right is onto oodna track to alberrie creek stn (now complete with hippies) and passes within spitting distance (if you are a really really good spitter) of the Marree Man carving, onto marree, at marree turn east (birdsville track) to clayton spa and station, numerous other ruins etc, mungerannie pub and wetlands, and north to eventually birdville.

straight ahead (south) towards lyndhurst, farina ruins (and great campground) farina track to andamooka, ...

at lyndhurst, turn left (east) and its the strez track to innaminka and moomba etc.... (burke and wills country) straight ahead and youre headed towards parachilna, arkaroola flinders ranges etc...

so check the map, go to the transport sa website and there is a road report published whenever updated conditions occur...need far north report...

more importantly, ENJOY... the desert springs to wildlife when it rains, these good soaking rains have it looking great...may even spy some sturt desert pea out and about!

if roads are closed the penalty for travel is pretty hefty and includes a by kilometre component!

take a hat, sunscreen, shorts, bathers, camera, stubby holder and insect repellant (just in case of mozzies!)

    cheers

if you go to andamooka, eat at the TUCKABOX...if you see 'steve tuckabox' or 'johnny tuckabox' tell them Digger says gday and will be back for s special steak soon!.
