Thread: Lunar Eclipse

We should get it too Andy, but it is pretty cloudy over here!!! Just had a look Moon is high in the sky peaking out from behind some clouds, can't see an eclipse yet but I think its only a partial one isn't it???

Yes, just a partial eclipse, with a little over half the moon falling into the earth's shadow.

Will walk outside in a moment and see if I can see the moon coming up.

Sorry, forgot about the time difference, you won't be able see anything for a while yet!!!

Time difference means nothing Jim.It still comes up,just got a great pic,clear sky.Pretty sure we are having the full monty over here in WA,intend taking a few pics.

What I meant with the time difference, Andy is if it starts at 5.30pm in WA that would be 7.30 over here. I have just had a look, we have the full moon high in the sky and no sign of an eclipse yet!!!
