Thanks for the posative replys people.
Hilux,no way.Way overpriced for what they are.
Tony I will look at a Trytoo,Deb loved the old one,an 1988 with a 2000 Pajero intercooled diesel.Biggest problem was keeping motors up to it,the 4d56 is a grenade!!!
If I get time I will visit a Landrover shop.Just dont thing a 130 is in our price range.

    Hi Andy,
Had mine for a few months now (work truck) and it is a BT-50 Dual cab 4x4 manual.
The engine is a ripper and pulls like a train. It can drink the Diesel if you keep your boot in it, but hey, it is a work car!
I am about 6'2" tall and for some reason the driving position plays havoc with my left knee after a couple of hours in the saddle. It seems you are not upright like in a Disco - sort of "go-cart" style? I dunno , maybe it's just me?
It is really bouncy over speed bumps (rear passengers will brain themselves on the hood lining - we always give a warning "BUMP!" so the rear passengers can brace themselves) and general cross-ridges in the road will step it out (like any ute) but with a little weight in the back it settles down really nicely.
Tows my overly heavy camper trailer well and quite happy with it.
Would I buy another dual cab? - nope.

We have had a re-think.Dont want to go into debt for a car.
Just missed out on a Defender Xtreme on friday, less than 150000ks,in pretty good nick.If the deal falls thru its mine.$11000!!!!!
She REALLY wants a Rangie.Looking for a P38a HSE/Vogue again.$15000 would be top dollar and would only buy a good one.
The late model Jap dual cabs in what we want are $23000+.They are nice, but lack character.Plus if we go into debt over a car I get to wait longer for a boat!!!!
    BRING ON THE OVERTIME!!!!
