`09 110 C/Chassis
Hi all,
Just joined the forums and need some advice (already)
A few years ago I owned a Td5 110 wagon and had a real love/hate relationship with it but ended up selling it because of work. (Got back into farming and needed a ute again)
I'm currently thinking of selling my current ute and trading into a `09 C/Chassis Defender. I took one for a test drive today and have a few points to think about already:
1: The motor rockets!
was responsive and I liked the short sharp gear changes as well
2: Will only need servicing once a year or 20,000 km's, should also be light on it's tyres and light on fuel, saving some money in the process.
3: Heater and A/C work! with the Td5 it sometimes involved wishful thinking to get the cabin warmer or cooler
4: I found the cabin comfy, if a little ...... squeezy (I'm 6`1")
5: More wind and road noise than old ute (landcruiser), motor roars when under throttle but is a lot quieter when just cruising along
So I'm wondering if there are any other owners of Defenders with the new TDCi engine and 6 speed box, what they think of them, how do they tow, any issues they've had with them?
Cheers guys,
Bluefox

Hi,
If you jump over to the 90 110 130 Defender County section - there is a Channel tab top left- you will find quite a number of threads on this topic.
Cheers,
