    Just wondering ..why is not a stipulation for members to show where they live.
    A lot of threads just end up with something like this....if we knew where you are we might be able to help".
    Surely people aren't ashamed of where they live and surely they have nothing to hide from us.

    Some people may just not want to publish where they live. Its probably actually good practice on the internet.

    But I agree, its probably good to leave it up to the individual.

    why make rules for the sake of it?

    It's true though that at least saying what STATE you are in is helpful... as legislation differs so much.
