    Best of Paul Hogan

Anybody catch the best of Paul Hogan on TV last night?
I sat down and watched it with my 2 daughters and they thought it was hilarious, I had to explain the constant liberal use of the Fire Extinguisher on Leo ****** though.
Anyway, at the end they had a rip off skit of the Village People with people dressed as Aussies, a Butcher, Tram Conductor etc.
One of the characters was in Black face carrying a Didgeridoo and both kids fell silent. They could not believe that it was allowed on television.
Today I've been thinking of a few of the changes that I've seen in my life that absolutely blew them away.
For example, my dad had a VF Valiant, seat belts only in the front and I can remember when it was optional to wear them. Cracker night, they couldn't believe it when we bought Fireworks in Darwin to celebrate Territory Day few years ago and told them when I was their age the Oldies used to give me money to go down to the local Milk Bar to stock up on 10 shots and Bungers in the weeks leading up to the big night.
    Crikey I feel old!

I saw it as well, those were the days.

    Both my boy's,now in their early 20's won't watch it,recon it's crap.I don't think they understand the humour,different generation.

    Anyway,i will watch it anytime,fantastic.

Yep, saw it and loved it. Then again, I don't mind a bit of Benny Hill either.

Didn't realize it was blackface at the end. Looked authentic to me. (must be the meds I'm on)

Try getting away with smoking on TV these days.

The best part is the way he could work in a set of norks into almost any skit / shot. Good job !!!
