    petrol mixed with diesel

I accidently put 6 litres of petrol into 50 litres of diesel; the tank has been drained into jerry cans, does anyone know of some where that will take waste fuel to dump. close to penrith area. i know places that will take oil but they wont take the fuel; thanks from leyland.

If you're dumping it, i'll take it. I'll just add it a couple of litres to a tank at a time

Add 20L of old engine oil and chuck it in a choofer!!

Or do as I do and use it to soak wet wood for the best firelighters ever!

    Cheers

Hmm, I'm in Sydney tonight and tomorrow, I wont even charge you when I take it
As others have suggested. It will be fine in a older diesel. Is what I'd use it for

Mate don't give it away, just use it!

If your worried uses it over a couple of refills.

I worked at a servo for a while......all the drained fuel (from diesel cars that had a tank full of petrol) went straight back into the diesel tanks.

It has been known that sellers of trucks put a bit of petrol in the diesel tank to give the truck a bit more apparent go. Gives a bit more of a bark to the exhaust too.

Just think how much money you will save by using it Leyland: $60. I wouldn't take the risk for $60, no matter how small.
