    Despite what's been said here, I've never had Defender mirrors vibrate, not even on a leaf sprung SIII, so I suggest you people nip them up a bit.

    Back to topic : Convex Mirrors don't need to be adjusted. They're cheap & simple.

    ours are shocking...vibrate all the time, have been nipped up oer and over and one hasa even been replaced it kept vibrating loose so muchhe

    For what it is worth Nathan I would love electric mirrors I finnd the mirrors a pain in the arse when me and Ian change drivinng the car because I simmply can't see out of his mirrors as he sits so close to the steering wheel

    Just a thought
    Why not put in mirrors from D1 or D2 or a rangie,put the associated wireing in and there you have it....

    Probably because they mount in a completely different way.

    I actually thought of this thread today. Couldn't adjust the driver's mirror with my right hand due to severe tendentious in my arm (caused by undoing the clutch reservoir on the same Defender). So had to get out and use the left arm.

    The Mercedes G 300 CDI 30.Pur Professional model has some fantastic commercial sized electric side mirrors. I wonder if it would be possible to fit these onto a defender.
