I don't normally take much notice of road safety adverts but this one from the TAC is good.
It goes for about 5 mins.

Yes, this was shared just before Christmas as well - definitely worth a few minutes of your time

Threads merged.
It was on a Merry Christmas thread somewhere - I wouldn't worry, it's worth the repeat
Edit - never mind :)

I appreciate all kinds of ads, be they blood and guts or the more subtle kind. I'm an adult and it's me and other adults who these are designed to impact. Some ads are lost on people and some aren't. Hell, look at Ron's recent post. One even got through to him. We need all of these. One life saved is worth it.
As far as the kids are concerned, well shouldn't the parents take responsibility for what their children are watching??? People need to stop blaming others for what goes on in their own house.
Kids freak out at times. Big deal. Their parents may drive safer so the kid has longer on this earth to get over all that damage. Or more likely some teenager or twenty-something takes a cab home from the pub and avoids running the same 'traumatised' kid down.

That is one of the very best information commercials I've seen. Makes you appreciate the beauty of life and what matters a bit more.
Driving without seat belts is down right stupid.
