That's a good one - from when I saw it I've tried to limit texting while driving (I still do a little to be honest). In my humble opinion texting is much more dangerous than holding a phone to your ear during a call.

May be it would be good to screen that over and over again on TV here, it might sink the message in. We see cars wandering all over the road regulary with people texting.
My be we should have a dob in a texter number, just like the dob in a hoon, and dob in a litterer.

Had a fatality here a week or two back. The dead female driver was found with a cell phone in her right hand. The news reported that she had been texting.

A number of years ago, when my young bloke Scott was about 5 we had friends drop in with their young bloke, about the same age. Whilst the boys were watching TV Scott who was a chronic asthmatic started getting wheezy, no problem down to the bedroom bring back the pump and mask, loads it with an ampoule of Ventolin puts the mask on and continues to watch TV. Well, the other kid freaks out big time, yelling, screaming, crying absolutely terrified. Took us a while to associate the two events and for his parents calm the boy down.

One of the earliest TAC blood and gore ads had a young boy knocked down on the road with an oxygen mask on. It then showed a copper telling the driver "........the lads dead". Remember that one ?

The poor little bugger had never seen an asthma mask before but he had seen the TAC ad and was convinced Scott was about to die.

Never approved of the 'blood and gore' ads since. ****heads that make these ads have no idea of the harm they can cause.
