Don't knock it Carolyn, it's Navman's first post and he must have done some research before posting.

Go to your nearest 4x4 store, ask for the book, " dirty weekends in S E Qld, "by Brad McCarthy [ the inventor of the Max Trax] . Everything you need to know will be there. Enjoy. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Learn how to use your Four Wheel Drive

Before I would go anywhere, I would spend some money on undertaking a course and learn how to use your Four Wheel Drive. We run Introductory courses for Land Rover dealers as well as other makes. Send me a PM and we can discuss your needs.

Whats wrong with dragging up an old thread?
I would have thought that is desirable. Keeping it all in the one place , so to speak.
May make it easier to find with a search later.

Or arnt we supposed to drag up old threads?

Contact Saich or Jerryd, they're both good coves and would probably be happy to show you round Mt Mee and offer some tips and advice.
