    Climate change.

    Thanks WhiteD3
All very interesting but I'm still inclined to think it's mostly a great big con to get a transfer of money from the public of the western World to 3rd World countries and their Swiss bank accounts.
Probably all part of the UNs desire for one World Gov in the not too distant future run by the Asian and African despots who run that organisation now assisted by the likes of KRUDD and other failed pollies who jumped onto the gravy train.

Hadn't thought about it in those terms Alan. Next time I see Elvis down at KFC drive-through I'll be sure to run it by him

    Climate change.

I'm sure Elvis will have pearls of wisdom for you WhiteD3 although he never displayed much before he went to the other side!
I don't doubt climate change, I just mistrust the vested interests like government funded scientists pushing the whole blame onto human kind.
And no way would I trust the UN and those that run it or failed pollies like KRUDD who will do anything to keep getting a first class lifestyle courtesy of the Worlds long suffering taxpayers.

What kind of scientists would you rather trust, those paid by the oil and coal industries? I can't see how scientists can put up weather satellites and analyse megatons of data without funding from somewhere... I'd rather believe government funding would give the better result. Much better than trusting BP to look after the environment.

The nay sayers suggest that human kind has no negative impact on the environment...show me one example of where we have improved the environment for every other species on this fragile planet?

We don't need a scientist for that answer.

There is no sitting on the fence on this one.

For instance I predict that this thread will be transported to the soapbox section very shortly. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Climate Change ...... those 2 words confirm for me that what the current climate scaremongers are imposing on us all is 1 large crock pot of manure.

You see, it used to be known as Global Warming, but then all these countries had their coldest winters in years and it just didn't fit. That pesky damn earth just didn't want to heat up and cook us all, oh well, look out the window, it has become cloudy all of a sudden, I know lets call it Climate Change instead ..... that will stuff 'em ...

The Climate does change, it used to be referred to as 'weather' but that just didn't sound scary enough.

We may have just been through, or even still going through the worst drought in 100 years (that's what they say) so I pose this question for all you climate experts .... what casued the second worst drought 100 years ago ..... ???????????????????????????????????? By the way, where I live they are saying it has been the wettest winter in 16 years and our dams are bursting ..... i've been washing my car and watering my lawn whilst it has been raining to try and do my bit to save the dams ......

I do not like the current government, but I do hope they get in and slug us with their great big stupid dumb green tax carbon reduction bulldust they crap on about ...... you see, I can afford to pay the extra for electricity, water, other services and food, although i would be unhappy to do so ...... but there are plenty of people out there that will not be able to and it will hurt ...... then we will see just how much the sheeple want that carbon tax ......... ha ha ha .......

    See Ya

After that last post I think that I will hide in the technical section....it's much more objective there.

I assume that you refer to my post mate, which somewhat confuses me as your previous post is far from free of personal feelings or prejudice itself.

It may surprise you to know that i actually agree with your comment

'show me one example of where we have improved the environment for every other species on this fragile planet?'

I think we would probably struggle to come up with too many examples.

I will stand on the highest mountain and tell all who will lesten that the climate does change and that yes we contribute to that, there is no doubt. There is huge doubt though just how much we do contribute, that is a huge concern for me as I have yet to read any article where they all agree on just what we are contributing. Despite all this they come up with a 'Carbon Tax' that in the end will come straight out of our pockets and will not (repeat0 not slow the change down, that is also a big concern for me.

For D3 .... I did not read the doc you posted, didn't want to or need to as it would hardly be 'objective' now would it ......

    Thanks for reading.
